The methodology developed by us for ability section for competitive exam preparation lays emphasis on making the students imbibe the fundamental concepts of Science and Maths and on sharpening their analytical skills and parallel thinking skills. This makes them capable of creatively resolving complex and tricky problems by merely application of basic concepts. We have experienced that the IQ level of the students is raised significantly during this process.

We at Study Vault, follow result oriented methodology to make our students perform better consistently.

Academic Delivery: Our academic approach takes the basic concepts to a much higher level in a synchronised manner. We follow fine steps in teaching/ delivering academics:

  • We ensure complete understanding of knowledge and concepts based on C.B.S.E./ N.C.E.R.T (basic theory/ basic concepts)

  • We provide assignments based on basic concepts, for thorough practice of N.C.E.R.T as well as DPP’s based on higher level concepts.

  • We practice competitive level problem solving for the same chapter/topic.

  • After basic as well as higher level we practice toughest level for the same chapter/topic.

  • We take a chapter wise test to ensure the active participation of each child.

A separate section will be formed by the school for the students enrolling in this program after qualifying the entrance test. In this section a different time-table will be followed. A one hour Math and Science class will be scheduled for four days in a week for this sections. The Maths and Science classes will be conducted by the faculty of Study Vault. Rest of the subjects and activities will be undertaken by the school teachers.

Our faculty members will ensure that they cover and abide by all the C.B.S.E. norms and complete the N.C.E.R.T. syllabus in a detailed and conceptual manner.

Eight hours a week are allotted for Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for classes VIII, IX, X and 14 to 16 hours a week are allotted for Physics, Chemistry, Math in classes XI and XII for achieving academic excellence. Apart from regular teaching we also conduct doubt sessions & extra classes every saturday.

Academic Coordination: We work hand in hand and co-ordinate with school academic team to ensure flawless academic delivery.

A dedicated academic co-ordinator is appointed by Study Vault for each school project, who is a one point contact between the school management, school’s academic team, students, parents and our faculty.

The academic co-ordinator coordinates with the school’s academic team vis a vis synchronization of syllabus, tests, assignments and correction of answer scripts as per the school guidelines. However the practical sessions of Science are conducted by the school teachers.

Evaluation Process: We at Study Vault firmly believe that a regular testing and evaluation system is must in the present education system. It gives us an opportunity to timely check each student and resolve all the doubts and concerns within a suitable time frame. Most importantly, if the doubts are identified and resolved on time, it gradually develops the interest of the student in the subject and they can take bigger challenges of the subject sportingly. It ultimately helps students to enhance their understanding skills rather than rote learning.

We adopt different evaluation systems to test the learning outcomes –

Chapter Wise Tests

Tests are conducted after the completion of each chapter with a blend of subjective & objective type of questions.

These tests are very important as they benefit both students and faculty members to check whether the understanding of a chapter is thorough or not.

Mock Test

  • Subjective Mock Tests: These tests are scheduled before every FA (Formative Assessment) and SA (Summative Assessment) of the school. The purpose of these tests is to check the readiness of students before the FA & SA.

  • Objective Mock Tests: These tests are conducted before all the competition exams like NSO (National Science Olympiad), IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad), NSTSE (National Science Talent Search Exam), NTSE (National Talent Search Examination), JEE- Mains and Advance. These are full syllabus tests and are based on the actual exam format.

  • Progressive Tests (PT): Progressive Tests are scheduled every quarter. These are objective type of competitive level tests based on the syllabus taught till that time frame. These tests are cumulative in nature. After the first PT all subsequent PTs will have 20-30% of previous tests questions. The purpose of PT is to ensure that each child is prepared for all the levels of questions and has a clear understanding of each topic.
